Portofino Bay Club Rooms

We've booked a club room at Portofino for my DD's birthday this summer. We have never stayed at this resort (we have stayed at RP and HRH).

If you've stayed there, can you share your experience? Are all the club rooms located on the same floor? Should we request a certain view?

I called with the intention of booking at the Royal Pacific, because it was the cheapest. But she offered $95 off a night for FL residents at PB. I couldn't pass it up! Please tell me we are going to like this resort!

You are going to love the Portofino.

From what i have read on these boards, Club is available to any room on any floor.

Hi taylor we stayed at Portofino Club last August, there are some piccs of the room and lounge in my trip report.

We have stayed at all three now, Royal Pacific, Hard Rock & PBH and we liked PBH the best, it's really beautiful there.

You will love the PBH. The club rooms are huge, and from what I have read they have pur Keurig coffee makers and coffee in the rooms too. Just remember to get your bottled water and creamer from the lounge for your coffee. It's nice to not have to walk to the club lounge first thing in the AM for coffee.

We just asked for a harbour view.

It's not far to the lounge, just a few minutes walk away. There is an excellent Gelato shop out on the Piazza, wonderful ice cream!! You'll have a great time.

It's been a great little camera for me and never let me down, recently we went to Egypt and my DD's expensive camera took lousy pics, but my little powershot tood nice ones.

Can you have 'club access' on a standard room or a deluxe room, or are all the club rooms deluxe rooms? Last time we stayed in a standard bay view room, but have heard that the deluxe rooms in the villa wing are lovely? Please help!!
