has anyone ever tried prtobello? I've never heard anything about it. its one of the only places that are open past 10pm on the 29th. The menu looks pretty good. the pizzas seem pretty cheap, but are they small? I dont want to spend a whole alot so thats probally what we'll order, and maybe some calamari to share. anywhere i can find some pics?

:) I'm interested in knowing as well... Tutto Italia is being refurbed during our next trip and my DD wants some good Italian. We've looked at the menus but it is always good to hear from someone who has tried this place.

I ate there a LONG time ago and I remembering really enjoying it. Although I was a kid - at the time. I don't remember specifics other than the roasted garlic they served with the bread and olive oil. Delicious!

We had a really good meal there 2 years ago. Our server was so nice and helpful. The decor is very pretty. The food was wonderful.

We are planning to go back during our Jan. trip. :)

NOTE: Portobello is owned by the Levy Group, along with
Fulton's and Wolfgang Puck's at Disney. The Italian is surprisingly
well above average for a WDW eatery. Good variety of pasta, and
a good selection of seafood and beef. I would skip the Chicken and
Osso Buco. Like most of the Levy eateries, they are a little over
priced for the quantity and quality.

We ate there last trip. Good food, good atmosphere. I would eat there if you are planning on being in Downtown Disney. Its not worth a special trip. We will be trying Il Muno this year. Never been but heard its pretty good Italian.

I've eaten there. As with many of the restaurants, the tables were way too close together. My other complaint is, we ordered drinks and appetizers together, then ordered entrees after the drinks were brought to the table, and entrees still came out while we were halfway through the appetizers. That's my pet peeve. I had the gnocchi, and thought they were overcooked. That said, I think I would give it another try, but Il Mulino is still much better.

If you have an annual pass or DVC, the Levy restaurants have the best discounts in all of WDW.

Ate there last this past January, and it was uncrowded, but really good. I would not hesitate to return.

We went last month. Sat right down. Waiter was excellent. Food came out quickly. DW had rice balls and I had a Caesar salad and we both had spaghetti and meatballs, kids had buttered pasta. Food was excellent. Portions were big, Will definitely go back

Ate there in July. Server was good, food portions were not small. Did not have an ADR but were seated in a couple of minutes. Only had to wait because we asked to be seated on the front patio. I don't care for Italian food but it was overall pretty good. Dessert excellent! Drinks excellent too!

We ate there for lunch last week and enjoyed it. The appetizers and entrees were good and the server was good. I think I liked Tutto Italia better though, but if it is being refurbed when you are there, I'd say try it.

We have reservations there what would be a better discount the AP or using TiW?
