I like the idea pf eating Dinner/Tea at Portobello Yacht Club, Anybody care to share their experience/opinions?

Also do you have to make a PS? If so I assume it would be on the normal number.

We had the most amazing Italian meal at this place - back in 1999. We didn't pre-book (it was June), but had to wait about 40 minutes for a table. That was no problem sitting outside overlooking the lake supping some cocktails

The food was amazing, and they made a huge fuss of DD Katie (would then would have been 5).

The best "entertainment" of the evening for us, though, was our server - Cindy. She had the most amazing voice (it could peel lemons at 10 paces) - Katie's face was a picture, but Cindy was priceless and was so attentive it was worth having her around talking to us most of the evening.

The food really was fabulous and we went there with our Floridian friends - and Frank is extremely fussy about his food and even he said how great it was So good that he left a 30% tip
