Portland peeps & Others --SW Airlines sale

Great deal! Thanks for sharing, I'm going to pass along to someone who may join us in September.

Got the same email! Just saved $30 on my SMF->ONT flight.

What's KILLING me is that they're offering $29.00 flights to San Diego and I can't take advantage of it!!! I really LOVE SD but the timing just doesn't work for us.

We are equidistant from Portland and Sacramento and if I hadn't already booked our flights out of Sacramento to LAX, I would be tempted to take advantage of this! I was able to get one of their "wanna get away" fares.

Did you check on SW? I'm in the bay area, so its not exclusive to portland. Also you can refare your current tickets and have a travel credit left over for your next trip.

There are definitely $39/each way fares from SMF to LAX on Tuesday and Wednesdays in August.

Thank you! I did look into it and we could cancel the flights we have and rebook them but it would only save us about $10 per ticket. I really like the dates and times we have and I don't think its worth the hassle of cancelling and re-booking for just $10. If it was cutting the cost in half, thats another story! But we already had pretty cheap fares.

Good deal. We fly out of Portland but not going until February. Hopefully something will pop during that time.

We've used LGB and SNA and liked them both. I'm trying to weigh cost versus convenience for our upcoming October trip.

The drive from Burbank is at least an hour (on a good traffic day) so to me it isn't worth it. I don't have any experience with ONT or what the traffic is like there.

Hope this helps someone else. Southwest is running one of their sales that ends tomorrow 7/31. I was able to book San Jose to Orange County for $29 each way!

"Book by 7/31. 21-day advance purchase required. Nonrefundable. Blackout dates apply. Seats, travel days, and markets limited. Fares valid on continental U.S., nonstop service where indicated; if not indicated, fares are valid on single connecting service. Continental U.S. travel valid 8/20/19 – 12/18/19."

Anyone know when Halloween stuff will be up? For $29 its worth to take a Tuesday and Wednesday off to go down for the night.

This is very helpful. I try to avoid LAX, though. Any feedback on ONT or BUR to Disneyland? Is one easier/less expensive? Thanks!
We tried both last month. ONT I would totally do again. BUR is a huge "heck no!" .... But that's because it took 2.5 hours in rush hour, with $80 for Lyft/Uber surge pricing. ONT was less than an hour (45 min?) and $40ish Lyft/Uber.
