I am trying to get all of my AR's made for October. Which of the restaruants portions are large enough for me and DH to split. I'm not a real big eater (for sure can't eat my own appetizer, entree & dessert) but DH is a pretty big eater. I was thinking we could share 2 TS meals since we will there for 6 full day and only have 5 TS (staying 5 nites). These are the restaurants I'm trying to decide from:

Grand Floridian Cafe
Concourse Steakhouse
ESPN Club
Sci-Fi
Rain Forest Cafe (not on dining plan but if share OOP wouldn't be as bad)
Teppanyaki (not sure if you can share here or not :confused3 )
Planet Hollywood
Whispering Canyon
50's Prime time

Thanks for all your help here on these boards

Out of the restaurants you've listed, I would say the biggest portions come from the Rainforest Cafe. Like you said, however, it's not on the dining plan. :guilty:

rain forest cafe..we got the lobster and with the safari club appe shared with no problem

we were using kingdom vacation lunch vouchers( basically the same amount of food as the dining plan )and shared at BD, Le cellier. with no problem. plenty of food although we usually share an appe and meal at most rests. ( like we did it at fridays yesterday with their rib dinner and potato skin appie if that helps with portion size example)

wc you can't share the skillet( not allowed I don't think since it's all you can eat) but the pork chops were 2 enormous chops a mound of potatoes and maybe corn or something.. we could have easily shared given you get an appie and dessert wiht the dining( i actually took a whole untouched chop home)( we ate dinner there so not with a voucher)

scifi only got aburger there and defiinitely not any where near enough to share, nor would i want to as it stunk and was burnt to a crisp bleech

50s i think it would depend on what you got...i got a lot of meatloaf there, enough to share, but it was a few years ago
others i can't comment on

DH and I shared lunch at SciFi in May. We ordered the caesar salad appetizer and he had a sandwich. We split this and it was enough, even without dessert.

My DM and I shared the Pot Roast in Jan. at 50's Cafe. With the appetizer and dessert, we found that it was plenty of food. Yummy!

38 days and counting!

one of which was lunch at ESPN. They shared 2 meals for 4 grown people and said there was still food left over. So that might be a good sharing meal for you.

They did Teppenyaki but didn't share there since they all enjoy different things. I definitely think you can share at 50's with an appie and dessert.

I don't think you'll have any trouble finding 2 meals to share over the course of the 6 days. There is so much food that it's really not a problem.
