I have been looking for a portable dvd player (cheap) for vacation--plane ride, wait in airport, ect. But I didn't want to spend 150+.

I saw in today's add that circuit city has a 7 in. Cyberhome portable dvd player for $119. (web id chlvd7000). Free shipping over $25.00 so no expense there and there is a code for 10% off (DJA3QLGADC). So I ended up paying $107.99 plus tax.

I hope this might be a deal that helps out some other people looking for a cheap 7in. I know the Kohl's deal for $149. had more things (carry case, ect) but I don't live near Kohls and I can put the DVD player in my carry on bag.

Hope this helps someone.

We purchased one last week at Circuit City. It is a Polaroid with a 7" screen as well. It was $149 with a $20 rebate and also came with the carry case for car/travel.

The 7" screen also rotates and can lay flat and mine also came with a remote (not sure if they all do). Very happy with it !!!

Also keep eyes out on Wal-Mart too. We got ours for I think 90 because they put them on clearance.

i got the polaroid 7" at walmart on a rollback for $138.22 about 3 wks ago and i love it. used it on our trip to mooresville,nc and it did great. the main reason for getting it is for our oct trip. the pic is so clear and the reviews are good.

Costco has a nice one for 129.99 for the 7 inch. Comes with the bag and headphones.

It was on sale for 119 a few weeks ago.

Target has a 5 inch one in todays sale paper for $109.

ditto for us.....the brand is Poloroid and we got a carrying case too that was free after rebate.

Do any of these come with a battery pack so you can use them on airplanes?

Also, do they have headphone jacks?

We purchased a Poloroid portable DVD a while ago. It worked great until the battery pack pooched. I found out that a replacement battery pack cost as much the whole portable DVD! (I was'nt impressed)

They do come with a battery that attaches to the back. It should last up to 3 hours when it's fully charged. You can also purchase headphones for them as well.

ours have battery packs. While the player is plugged into the truck, or house- it charges the battery. we do on occasion drain the battery, just like a phone etc. so that its not always full charged, it lessens the life of them.

We've used them on our way from VT to WDW and back, and also on trips from here, the girls also use them in their rooms on occasion.

They each have their own, and it works perfectly that way

I bought the 7" Cyberhome model at KMart a couple of weeks ago. It was 129.00 with a $30.00 rebate. I've watched a couple of movies on it and it works fine. It has a battery pack. The only complaint I have is that the volume doesn't go up really loud. For $99.00 I'm pleased with it.
