We had a really bad experience in July with cleanliness at PORC. I took pictures and was ready to go complain, but my husband wouldn't let me complain that night. So after an extremely restless night, I went to the front desk early. I showed the nighttime housekeeping manager the pictures I took on my video camera. He was appauled. They comped us for that nights stay. Had housekeeping clean the room, then signed us up for VIP cleaning. I started a letter to Lee Cockerell, but have been reluctant to mail it. The problems in our room were ones that did not happen overnight.
1. The mold on the inside shower cutain was thick
2. There was also mold on the outside "fancy" shower curtain
3. There were 2 smashed bugs on the wall
4. There were small pieces of candy and some toothpicks behind the bed.
5. There was a toothpick and lint on the floor
6. The dust under the beds was SOOOO thick my son's remote control car came out covered with dust.
7. There was a fairly fresh pizza stain on one of the pillows
8. The pink cover had a green guey piece of candy on it
9. There was either vomit or spit out food on the comforter.
When we got back to our room after complaining, the shower curtains were brand new. The smashed bugs were gone. The comforters on both beds were completely different. The candy, lint and toothpicks were gone. The sheets and pillow cases were clean. However, the dust under the bed was untouched. I didn't check under the bed, but ds played with his car before we went home, and sure enough it came back out of the beds all dusty.
A friend of mine told me that she heard that PO was having cleaning issues. I think Disney needs to address these!
On a positive note, we stayed at PORC the month before this bad experience, and everything was fantastic!
Our bad experience was in the building in Alligator buyou that is directly beside the food court building.
