I haven't been on the boards for a couple of months, so I'm not sure what is happening at PO. Are both Riverside and the French Quarter up and running? Is there boat service again? How about that great piano player at Riverside? Any info would be greatly appreciated. We are in the beginning stages of planning a trip for Dec. Thanks, Denise

Everything is up and running at Riverside now. After May 31, everything will be open at the French Quarter too.

The piano player is not there at this time. The bar is open, but there is no entertainment. There's another thread about this.

Can you take a boat from PO Riverside to French Quarter? Is it worth a visit?

Yes, you can take a boat between both Resorts. Both Resorts are beautiful and have a lot to offer. You can also use each other's pools.
