Port Orleans vs All Star vs Coronado

So need one night to basically sleep. Decided to arrive around 9pm the day before our trip so we have a full next day. Staying at Boardwalk but don’t want to pay the higher rate.
all star comes in at $135 for the night, Port Orleans Riverside $233 and Coronado $205
checked the Swan and Dolphin and they are like double these and have a resort fee and parking (we drive)
Never stayed at any of these but if we arrive around 9 pm want the option for a quick snack and sleep
where would you stay?

I'd go for saving the money and book Allstar. Book Movies or Music and you are guaranteed renovated room (queen beds). If that rate is Preferred, def take it.

Note I have done this before and I pack a small bag that we carry in that night leaving the rest in the car.

Stop at Publix for a quick snack and stay at All Star.

1st choice: All Star
2nd choice: Port Orleans
Always my last choice: Coranado (way too spread out for us)

Rooms at All stars are similar in size and set up,to the moderates the exceptions are bed size (at least at sports until the reno is complete) and food options.

The only reason to PO is if you were wanting to take the boat to DS or eat beignets. Though this is my favorite resort. I just don’t think you’ll get the best bang for your buck.

I don’t love Coronado just for the huge footprint and internal buses.

For one night I’d say save the money.

I’m staying at All Star Movies for one night before checking into Wilderness Lodge. Who wants to pay Saturday night rates at a deluxe just to go to sleep and get up and leave early.

For just a 'sleep $ leave" room I'd choose the AllStar in this situation.

Years ago we would always arrive late in the day and would stay offsite the night before our early check in to our resort, but, in this case you can't beat the $135 price point.

Save $$ and stay at All-Stars they have a real good CS to get food at.

BTW; Since CS have added the bridges the walk is not even close to as bad as people make it out to be, plus even before that we never felt the need to use the internal buses. Heck at most the walk was just 10 minutes from the back of Ranchos area to the lobby.

Arriving that late and just one night, yep do All Stars. You would need to check here or Disney's website to see what time the QS closes, I'm not sure. More than one night, I'd go CR, it's my favorite moderate. Good food options, and even though it seems larger, it's not really that much bigger (if at all) than POR or even some of the deluxes if you take into account the long hallways. I often do split stays with a night or two in a value and like HooperFan, always pack a smaller bag for that one night. Usually just a small packing cube with a handle that I can either throw back in the car or even put in a suitcase real quick the next morning. I usually have some sort of tote bag or backpack with my hanging toiletry bag, my laptop and my kindle in it so I can just slip a packing cube into it for that one night and just transfer it over to my bigger bag the next morning.
