Port Orleans to the Wilderness Lodge

Our night of arrival we will be having dinner at the Whispering Canyon Cafe. We will be going there directly from the hotel for an 8:40 ADR? What is the best way to get there and back again?

The easiest is to drive.

If you don't have a car then taxi is second choice.

If you have to rely on Disney transportation, take the bus to the MK and then the boat to Wilderness Lodge. If you have to take this route, allow a good 45 minutes, perhaps more.

Whether or not the WDW Watercraft serving the WL will be running is another consideration....depending on the date of your trip.

You didn't say which hotel you are staying at so this can affect the travel information you need.

I do this all the time from POR.

I take the bus to MK and then the ferry boat over to WL.

Depending on what night you go, MK may not be open when you are finished with dinner.

I take the DTD bus back from WL, and then take the water taxi back to POR; it runs until 11:00 pm.

Don't forget to ask for ketchup at your table and watch what happens!

As an alternate to the boat you can also take a bus between MK and WL
