Has anyone stayed at the POR? If so, would you recommend this resort or should I look elsewhere?

We've stayed at POR twice and would happily do so again. In the moderate category, we've also stayed at CSR. Both have lovely grounds. It's pretty much a toss up between the two for us. I don't think you can go wrong with POR.

I have stayed at POR several times and it's a great choice. I love it there. They have great, lush tranquil grounds, a good pool, great activities like boats, bikes, hair wraps, YeeHa Bob, an amazing food court and the boat to DTD. Now that the rooms are going through the refurb, even more of a reason to say. Enjoy!

I thought it was great! After getting back from the parks, just walking around and enjoying the resort was an attraction in and of itself.

We stayed there January 1-6 and enjoyed the resort very much. We were in the Magnolia Bend Mansions. DF and I would recommend it to anyone

Back to being our favorite Mod now that they will have queen beds Wonderful resort with a great food court, there is a lot to do at the resort, not to mention the boat to downtown disney. Also; POFQ is it's sister resort so you can also go there and use their pool, food court and store.

A real resort that is as much fun as WDW is itself. I love Aligator Bayou Known as AB. The food court, OH! the food court! Your home away from home. Will return again in June 2013.
