We are going down in the end of oct and taking are 4 yr granddaughter have a pool room view. What building would be close to the food area with a pool room view ?

Are you going to French Quarter or Riverside? At FQ you would be in either 2 or 5 and both are close to the foodcourt. If you are at Riverside checkout the maps on www.portorleans.org

It doesn't sound like you booked preferred. So, if you go for Magnolia the pool side would be a very close walk. And the bonus is your near the quiet pool. You simply cross a little bridge and your at the main pool, followed by food court. So, I would ask for Magnolia

In mansion section either Acadian House or Magnolia Terrace have pool view.
