Just returned from a 10 night stay. Love the small quaint resort with truly a southern feel. We were in the far end of building 4, third floor. Perfect location to everything on site. Bus service was excellent. Only experienced one bus wait over 20 minutes and on less than 1/4 of the trips did we actually drive thru the sister resort (Riverside) to pick up guests there. Water in the pool was absolutely freezing and we live in the north, so you know that's chilly! Hot tub was nice but they were having difficulty controlling water levels. On 2 nights it was only about 2-3 feet deep and one morning it was overflowing! Mousekeeping service was very good. On 2 nights my son and I roasted marshmallows at their evening campfire - just a nice extra touch. They also had nightly movies but we only watched a portion of a movie because the mosquitos found us. We watched the world series at the pool bar one night and the bar tender was very personable. We did need to do laundry and found the dryers actually ran long enough to dry a load - posted run time was :30 but it went at least :45. Really enjoyed the boat ride to Downtown - so relaxing and scenic.

Will be there in a little over 3 weeks! We love this resort due to its small size and having only one bus area. It will be our 4th year in a row staying there. I wish they would take care of the pool situation as it was freezing cold last year as well.
