Need to know if POFQ King bedrooms are accessible for ECV'S? also, does any one know if the boats that come to the resort can accommodate an ECV? Thank you!

I cannot speak to the king bed room but the boats to downtown Disney Springs can definitely accommodate ECVs. I do know that the two queen rooms also can accommodate an ECV so it would be likely the king room would also.

I stayed in a regular King room this March and there is more than enough room for an ECV, probably even two. My mom, dad, and brother stayed in a handicap accessible room that trip, and between the three of them they had two ECV’s and one wheelchair. I ended up storing Dad’s ECV in my room at night because their room had less floor space.

I would recommend bringing a good heavy doorstop to hold the door open while you drive in. There is a tight turn right inside the door that doesn’t leave much room for another person to hold the door. I got lucky and my king room was a former handicap accessible room with a door that held itself open, but not all are like that.

ETA that POFQ buildings have elevators. I had no trouble at all maneuvering the ECV in and out of the elevator solo, and I’m not an experienced ECV driver.

I strongly agree with this. Dealing with the door is the one of the most difficult parts of having an ECV. A strong doorstop is needed because it is a heavy door.

Thank you so much for your replies! I wasnt sure if the turn was too tight or not and I know the boats are pretty small. We don't have a car so transportation is important other than buses. Thank you again
