I just got off with CRO and booked a 2 night stay using the AP code. One night was reg season which should have been 109, and the next night was value at 79. He said total 127.12 for 1st night and 104.82 second night? Does that sound right to you experts?

It's $15 extra per night for the trundle bed.

Your first night is $99 + $15 = $114 plus $13.12 tax
Second night is $79 + $15 = $94 plus $10.82 tax

Extra? Is that something new? We always stay at POR w/ our 3kids, we have never paid extra for a trundle bed. I would like to know what the scoop is before my trip back there next Summer.

That is odd, because in 2001 we were given a room with a trundle bed and there were only 3 adults in the room.
We only paid the $15.00 extra per night for the extra adult.

They don't charge for both. I fyou are already paying for an extra adult, they don't charge for the trundle. We had three adults and two kids, and paid an extra $15 total.

If you book the room with five in your party, they automatically charge you the extra 15.00 a day and give you a room with the trundle.

Question to all you POR experts....;)

We will be staying at POR in just over a month. I've booked a standard room for myself, my DH and our DS. My concern is that I am scheduled for foot surgery and will have a cast (second time in 6 months - darn that stubborn stress fractures:mad: ). The CM at CRO noted on our reservation that I will have special needs so our room will be in a convenient location. Now my question...has anyone asked for a room with a trundle bed for only 3 people? I am concerned with my DH and I trying to sleep in a double bed with a cast on my foot. As a last resort we'll pack an air mattress for our DS to sleep on.

Happylady, If you requested a room with special needs (disability), you will be in bldg. 14. This is a fantastic location, next to the food court and main bldg. These rooms already have a trundle bed in it. However, if your son is older than age 8 or so, it will not fit him. It is pretty small, but adequate for a child. If he is older than this, I would recommend the aero bed. It can go in the space that the trundle bed would be and the trundle bed would just stay underneath the bed.

Best of luck with your surgery. You will LOVE this resort! Be sure to take some time to walk (or wheelchair?) it around for awhile. Also, take the boat ride in the evening to Downtown Disney, wonderful ride. Have fun!
