Port or Starboard Side?

We cruised on the starboard side on the Wonder, and enjoyed being able to see the FL coast as we departed and see Nassau as we entered. We also liked seeing Castaway Cay from our verandah.

On a Wonder cruise, what do you get to see on the Port side of the ship?

On the Western Caribbean Magic, what are the port & starboard views?

And, on the Eastern Caribbean Magic, what are the views from the port & starboard sides?

Thanks! ;)

you read my mind~ I was wondering the exact same thing. I have a starboard room and other than someone mentioning Castaway Cay if the Captain backs in, I haven't noticed any one else posting what they see when docked. We'll be on the 1/3/2004 7 day Western, so I'd be interested in finding out what we can see from our verandah.

Thanks, Jeanny :-)

We were port side on the Magic, and saw the KSC and Carnival pier at Port Carnaval, the pier at St. Maarten, St. Thomas, and CC, plus a bunch of other islands along the way. I remember leaving CC and having a beautiful view of some islands twinkling in the twilight.

On the Starboard side you would have seen the Disney terminal at Port Canaveral, a nice view of St. Maarten, the harbour in St. Thomas, and the family beach at CC.

Well, I've rebooked the same cabin (8032) for my two weeks back-to-back in 2004...does that give you any idea? :)
