Port or starboard side on Magic ?

Hi, is it better to get a port or a starboard side stateroom on Disney Magic for a Western Carribean cruise (Cozumel and Castaway Cay) to get a great view ? I am hesitating between stateroom 7120 or 7620.

And what about the firework if I want to watch it from the verandah ?

Port side will overlook the dock. Starboard side overlooks the beach.

Fireworks are shot from aft toward midship starboard side. In many cases, DCL request that no one (and nothing) be on the verandahs during the fireworks.

Four short hours ago I checked out of cabin 7619 on the Magic right across from 7620. Although I did not have a verandah I did absolutely love that room and have requested it for my next cruise. The Aft Deck was just a few rooms away. The stairs were close and all of the areas to visit were close by. I highly recommend that area. Our room host was named Art and he was terrific!

We were on Starboard side 7080. Great room and stewartes. View was great in Grand Cayman no dock you are bow to the island. Cozumel starboard will face the island. You may have another ship between you and island depending were you dock. Inside or outside. You can see this on cozumel web cam.
