Hi guys,

Ive just been booking my excursions and dining reservations today as my newbie window has opened up. There's 4 of us... 2 adults, a 7 year old and a 2 year old.

I've booked 2 shore excursions that are free for kids 0-2, ie: it states 0-2: $0. When reserving, it doesn't let me select our youngest - her name is not selectable on the list. So there's only 3 names on each reservation - me, wifey and our older daughter. Is this correct? I assume it means that only 3 of us are being charged, and we can bring the 2 year old on an adult's lap.

That's correct. On the day of your Port Adventure you will meet at a designated point to all leave the ship together. At that point of time I always mention that I have an infant with me, sometimes they require you to write the child's name and your stateroom number on a form.

On most of our Port Adventures we have been able to have a seat for our child as the buses weren't full, however if it is fully booked then, yes, your child would need to be on your lap.

We had no problem with 2 of our excursions like this 2 weeks ago. One had us write our names on the form, but there was plenty of room in the bus for her to have her own seat. She thoroughly enjoyed all the excursions and we were never given an ounce of trouble!

Many thanks for the replies everyone! That certainly puts my mind to ease :)
