Port Everglades to Port Canaveral

We just jumped on a sail away rate on the Wish that departs the day we debark off the Destiny. We plan on Uber to FLL to rent a car and drive up to Port Canaveral. Does anyone have experience dropping a car off at Alamo near the Port? Should we drag our bags on the shuttle from Alamo, or swing by and porter our bags first? Thanks for any help.

Drop your bags off first. Also, no need for more than just the driver goes to return the car. There will be lots of people trying to get on the shuttle and a single person is easier to find a spot.

I second everything about this! This is what we do-drop bags and most people off at the terminal, then have one person return the car and take the shuttle back.
