Ok which one would you choose and why? Also which buildings would you recommend? Thanks everyone!!;)

We have stayed at both, and liked both, but give the edge to PO-R... it seemed a little more relaxing and not quite as spread out.

For PO-R, I would recommend Bayou Building 14. It is secluded, no parking lot view, even in standard rooms and is a very short walk from the main building, food court, bus stop and quiet pool.

If you have to have a mansion, then choose Magnolia Terrace...it is the most convenient of the mansions.

Both of the above are non smoking buildings... if you need a smoking optional building, then choose building 18 or Oak Manor, for the relative same reasons. Bldg 18 is a little bit further from the food court and bus stop, but is right next to the laundromat and quiet pool.

At CBR, our favorite section is Jamaica. It is close to the 1st bus stop, and not too far from Old Port Royale and the main pool. This is a non smoking section, and the buildings I would recommend would be... either 42--- no parking lot view and next to the quiet pool, or building 45---no parking lot view, and near to the bridge to Old Port Royale, the main pool and the Parrot Cay Playground (located on the island)

If you need a smoking optional room, I would choose Aruba building 51 for the same reasons as building 45 in Jamaica. This will put you in the middle of the Jamaica and Aruba bus stops.

Have a great trip:)

Both have wonderful landscaping but they are sooooo different. CBR is more open with beaches and a lagoon/lake separating the buildings while Riverside, although large, has a more "close" feel to itself. The Bayou region is lush with vegetation and the mansions have an elegant look to them. The landscaping in each is beautiful.

The rooms are typical moderate rooms and nothing to get excited about but are nice for a vacation/family stay. The layout is the same.

If you check out our website you'll just how different these two resorts are!

how long is your trip, we usually spilt the stay between two resorts, could try that!!!

I shouldn't recommend if I haven't stayed at both, but we enjoyed CBR. Even if it is booked, it doesn't feel like you are on top of everyone since it is so spread out. I suggest Martinique-close to Pirate pool and food court. Rooms are fairly spacious, and one fo the few resorts w/ a coffeemaker (essential to some of us). We're "Jersey shore" people so I guess we naturally gravitate to anything resembling a beach.
