Wondering where the best building at riverside is to request. Travelling with an infant and 5 year old. Where is the best place to catch the bus going to the park, hoping that we won't have to stand too often.

First of all, when are you going to, be at POR? I stayed there the end of April/early May in 05 and didn't really have any bus problems. I had the usual bad luck getting a bus, i.e., as we're nearing the bus depot the bus we are wanting to get is just pulling out.:confused3 :rotfl2: But that is just my luck! However, another one would soon follow.Otherwise we never had to stand. We used the west depot almost always which is the 2nd stop.
I never thought the walk was too far to anything either like some others complain about. We stayed in Bldg. 35 which is considered"way out" there. It took a few minutes to get to the food court etc. but we so enjoyed the walk. The grounds are so pretty you were almost disappointed when you neared the Main Bldg. I guess if you're there in the heat of the summer, June/July/August, UGH! The walk then might feel incredibly too far even if it's to the building next to yours;) . It barely broke 80 degrees when we were there and nooo humidity. So the walking was not bothersome. I guess with young children I'm sure you'll want to be closer to the Main building/Food and the 1st bus stop. I would request any of the AB Bldg.'s # 14 thru 18. They are the very closest to the 1st stop etc. It's a beautiful resort and I'm sure you'll love it! BTW, take the boat to DTD, we really enjoyed that. A pleasant little diversion from the buses.
Have a great time!:flower3:
