So, we have changed our reservation for what seems a million times! I just changed from POR to AOA for the last week of February. DH and I think the kids will LOVE AOA Lion King suite. But when you see the $1000+ extra price tag....that is a lot to swallow. We are a family of 4 and don't need a suite. But we would like to be able to put the kids to bed and stay in another room watching tv or talking without disturbing the little ones. It is absolutely necessary, no. But it would be nice.

I have NO idea if AOA will get free dining or even a discount for late February. It is a pretty quiet week as it is sandwiched between Presidents day and Spring Break. Is anyone else finding that the suites are not getting reserved but the Little Mermaid suites are filling up fast? With that thinking, I am hoping they offer something for the AOA suites.

I am wondering if we should have stuck with POR. Is AOA worth it??

AOA family suites, but not LM standard rooms, have been included in the free dining promotions so far. I do believe that they will be included if FD is offered for Winter, hoping that it is. We are a family of 5 and could have stayed at POR as well, but I decided, since I don't know when we will be able to go back, to splurge on AOA. For all the reasons you mentioned plus the 2 bathrooms. DH and I have been working lots of extra hours and so the upgrade is not dipping into our regular vacation or savings funds.
