POR to Poly for O'hana Reservation

I have booked a surprise breakfast for DH's birthday at O'hana at 7:55am. What is the best way to ge there without having to take our car. We will be going to EPCOT afterwards. I will also be using an ECV and it won't fit in our car, so I wan to use Disney Transportation. I usually don't have this problem, I usually know how to get where I want to go, when I need to get there, but we haven't done this one before. Any help will be much appreciated.

The CM at Disney Dining said that there is a boat from POR to Poly, but that is the first I have heard of that, I personally think she is wrong.

We stayed at POR in May and took the bus to MK, then the monorail to the Poly. THere is a boat from POR to Downtown Disney, maybe that's what she was talking about. Good luck!

That would be my call too. Getting to Epcot afterwards is easy also. Just ECV it over to the TTC and catch the Epcot monorail from there.

Thank you all, I just called and a room became available at WL, so we will be there. Our problem was the CM said that the buses didn't run that early, but I was pretty sure they do. I didn;t know you could walk from the Poly to TTC, learn something new everyday here on the DIS

I think she was confused about the boat also.

You have a very early breakfast ADR, so I'm not sure you will be able to use Disney transportation. How early do the busses run to MK? It would be great if you could catch a bus to TTC, but I don't know if there are busses from resorts to TTC. Too bad your ECV won't fit in your car. If it did, I would take your car to TTC and then just take the path over to the Poly. Good luck. Hope you get it all worked out.

We had early breakfast at ohanas. We were staying at the pop! they do run an early bus to MK then you take the monorail there!

i think the busses start at 7 or 7:30 am.

The walk from the TTC to the Polynesian is very beautiful, especially in the morning!! I used to do it every day for work . It's really relaxing, and they have the polynesian music playing along the paths. If you're not in a hurry, I would definitely go that way.

When you ride the monorail over to the poly - does it drop you off right inside?? We have ressies for O'hana as well and are coming from CBR. Planned on taking bus to MK then grabbing the monorail.

It drops you off outside, I believe it is the second floor. I haven't been in this resort yet, but at the Gf, it is the second floor. The Contemporary is the only one that drops you off inside.
