Me and my boyfriend have booked a trip to POR 14th - 28th October 2017! We've been looking at flights and worked out it's actually cheaper for us to book an extra night at POR and fly back to Gatwick on the Sunday
...who knew Saturday flights would be so expensive! :O
At the moment we're due to check out on the 28th, but we'd like to stay on in the standard room and check out the 29th instead. Since we booked during free dining we'd ideally like free dining for that extra day, but we're not too fussed about that if we can't get it.
We phoned Disney today and they said they only have pool view rooms left (£174 per night) so we'd have to make a completely new reservation for that extra night and we wouldn't get the free dining. We decided to wait for a few days to see if a standard room suddenly becomes available (wishful thinking!)
I've just checked on the US website - they have a standard room available (although it seems expensive at $247 dollars). Do you think if we phone them tomorrow and explain the room is available on the US website they would let us add it onto our reservation with free dining? I don't know if the CMs on the UK hotline have access to a different booking system to the US website?
It seems strange to me that the US website has different availability. Do you think the UK website is holding some standard rooms back?
