POR room requests

We recently stayed in the Alligator Bayou section of POR, and have booked a new reservation there for later this year. We would like to stay in a different section this time. Is there a way to request to NOT be in the Alligator Bayou? We have a Pool View booked for 2 people.

You can request a building in the Mansions section. Acadian House and Magnolia Terrace have pool views there, the other mansion buildings are royal rooms.

You can send a room request fax about a week before you arrive. There is an excellent Port Orleans thread and website that details how to do this. It worked for me - I got all of my requests (mansion, river view).
