Is the only way to get from POR-Riverside to WDW Swan Hotel by taking the boat to DTD and then the shuttle bus to the Swan Hotel?

Is there a better way?

And if not, how long does it take to get there? I'm debating about doing a dinner at the Swan..... I really don't want to be dragging 2 kids at dinner time from place to place just to get to this dinner when we could just eat at our resort.

Alternatively, how long would it take to get there from AK park or HS?

Is there some sort of info sheet somewhere indicating travel times to and from resorts/parks?

Thanks in advance!

We have found it best to just take a cab when going from resort to resort. I don't think it cost too much either. Maybe 10 or 15 bucks. If you can go there directly from a park, you could save some money on the cab by taking the bus to the Swan rather than going to POR first.

This website might be helpful. You pick where you're going and it gives you options with approximate times. I'm not sure how accurate the times are, as it really depends on YOUR timing. If you JUST miss a bus/boat, that will add 20 minutes.

Another option would be to take a bus to Studios and then the boat to the Swan.

Typically, you allow 60-90 minutes to go resort-to-resort using Disney transportation. That would be if you just missed a bug to Studios and had to wait an average of 20 minutes for the next one, then the ride to Studios, walk to the boat launch, and if you just missed one, waiting for the next, and the time of the boat ride.

I agree with PP. Take the bus from POR to DHS. Walk to the boat dock (a short distance) and take the boat to the Swan/Dolphin dock. 10-15 min. trip. For your return, you might have to taxi back. It would be best to ask the boat pilot what time the last boat leaves Swan/Dolphin dock for DHS that evening. Then you could comfortably plan your return to POR.

If you are going to the Swan from AK, plan on a 20-25 min. bus ride. I'm not sure if that bus stops at the Swan/Dolphin first or last on its way around Crescent Lake. On your way to the Swan, you could stop at the boat dock and ask about the time for the last boat to DHS.

If your dinner ends after the boats to DHS stop, do not go the DTD route. Epcot resorts to DTD is the worst bus route at WDW. A cab will run you around $20 and is well worth it to avoid that bus ride. The bus is always very crowded and goes to all 5 resorts.

Also from DHS you can walk and to the Swan it's only about 15 minutes and can be faster than the boat if you have to wait on the boat to arrive. We usually walk it.
