Does anyone have an idea of the schedule of renovations or the progress to date on the renovations at POR? We are going down at Easter and I am wondering what they might be in the middle of.

Thanks! I also just read something about July. Any one heard anything else?

We JUST returned from being in POR for 11 nights :-) Had a blast! We received the most information from the downtown boat drivers (captains). They were all wonderful. Most said that the resort bookings exceeded Disney's expectations, so that put Disney in the "all forward" mode in rehabing the resorts. According to them: French Quarter is going to open sooner than expected, & opening in sections (by October) then the mansions & AB sections not started rehabing will be started & those sections closed will be hit hard by renovations so they can be opened sooner. :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

So are you saying they plan to close Riverside in October time ? and keep the whole Riverside section open until then ?

Was everything open? There had been some reports of part of the food court was closed as well as some of the bus stops. I just switched my ressies over there and Guest services said everything was open, but I'd rather hear it from somebody that was just there. Thanks!!
Oh yeah...are there coffee pots in the rooms or do we have to request them?? Thanks!!

You have to request coffee pots. We all understand one of the sections of the food court to be closed.
