POR Questions

Hi!
We just made ressies for POR beginning Jan. 24 with the new discount code and I have a couple questions.
1) We have ressies for a King Bed room and we requested Magnolia Terrace. Does anyone know what type of views the King rooms have?
2) And, is Bob the Piano Man still performing at the River Roost Lounge? We certainly hope so! We really enjoyed his performance back in Feb. 2003 and we would like to see him again.

Hello,

The King rooms have varied views, so you can request whatever youd like and cross your fingers. We had a "waterview"room while there and I honestly dont think it was REALLY worth it...I mean it was nice, we had a river view, and I did like it, but you have to keep your shades closed so as not to feel like an exhibit, so the only time you get to see your view is when you are leaving in the morning or coming in at night.

Bob is still there but only on certain nights, I think its Wed-Sat 8:30 - midnite. I think he is at Universal City Walk the other nites, but you can always double check by calling the resort!

We stayed in a standard room in Magnolia Terrace. Our room looked out on a nice courtyard btwn MT and the next Mansion bldg. Some of the rooms in the back looked on on the parking lot, but even those views couldn't have been too bad b/c there are so many trees blocking the view.

We loved Magnolia Terrace!
