POR or POP Century in April

We are trying to decide between staying at the POP Century or Port Orleans Riverside during our (suprise for our kids) trip next April. Last year we stayed at POFQ and AKL and loved them both, but want to try something new. After staying at a moderate and deluxe property I am cautious about the POP as a value resort - should I be? Is it worth the extra money to stay at a moderate? We are a family of four and the kids can share a bed. Thanks!!

We spent one night this past April at POP before going to BWV. Never again!!! The room is tiny, the walls and doors are paper thin! One thing I really disliked were that the beds were go close to the door. I think you will be disappointed after POFQ and AKL.

POR! It's a beautiful resort, I think the extra money for a moderate is definitely worth it because of the all the extra amenities you get.

I have to disagree! My children absolutly LOVE POP! We stayed there last Dec. and have stayed at POR and GF and they choose POP for this Dec. they love the teme and also the frozen coke. I think it depends on the ages of the children and how much you stay in the room. We never heard anything outside of our rooms and thought the rooms were excellent for the price!

our entire family LOVED pop! we've stayed mod before and enjoyed pop wayyyyy more... i would not hesitate to stay there again!

Any other opinions? It sounds as though staying at POP might be worth a try (and we can always use the money we save somewhere else!)

We just booked POP for 3 days before we go to BCV for 7 days for our anniversary. Last yearwe did the GF then POR. POR had thin walls and our room was filthy! Management did nothing once we complained about the dirt. On the third day there we noticed a brand new splash of sticky stuff on the floor that wasn't there before. It seemed like mousekeeping dropped juice or something (we didn't have anything in the room to spill)and didn't clean it up so it was a sticky and congealed. We could hear the people on all sides and above us everytime the toilet flushed. Not very romantic for our honeymoon. I can't see a newer resort like the POP being any worse then POR. We thought we'd book it and check it out as a alternitive to a mod (unless a great AP rate comes out then we'll upgrade if anything is available).
