POR or POFQ with 11 and 6 year old?

Hi all! We are planning on hitting the World for a week in August, have stayed at AKL twice and CBR, which of the two PO resorts would you choose? Thanks!!

I would pick POR. The pool at POFQ is tiny and the slide is also not very big. While you can use both pools, it would be a hassle to go over to POR of you are on the far end of POFQ. Plus, the masks in the food court freaked me out haha!

I like POR for several reasons:

- Bike rentals are right there. If you stay at POFQ, you have to trek all the way to POR to rent them.
- food court is way better, more options. I love the pasta bar & salad bar.
- The slide is longer, which your kids might appreciate more. The POFQ slide is much shorter. Although the theme at the POFQ pool is more fun looking, i like POR. You can use both pools thou no matter where you stay.
- I like the overall landscaping and theme of POR better than POFQ.
- POR has yehaw BOB at the lounge.
- POR has the horse/carriage ride.

I liked the overall feel of POR Magnolia Bend, while POFQ was neat to visit and walk to. I really liked the pool area and the charm of the buildings in POR. Felt less like a Hotel, and more like a resort. The rooms are charming, and I liked how central everything was regardless of where on the grounds we were.

I like POFQ but that is more for my adult opinion I think. Both are wonderful but with the kids I think POR probably wins out.

I would choose POR and request a room in the AB section for the extra murphy bed. I know my DDs didn't like sharing a bed so it was a great solution for us

We always go in August and we always get free dining.

Also, likely you will get a better discount at POR then POFQ, FQ is often not included in any promos/discounts.

AB of POR is awesome! We have an 11 yr and 5 yr DS and they love POR!! Its a fun resort!!

And POR is smaller than CBR? I found that resort too spread out and too many bus stops!
