Just read that magnolia terrace is a non-smoking building in the mansion of POR. Has anyone stayed in this building? The ressie has me down for oak manor, but I worry about smoke smell. How is the location, quality of rooms, convenience of magnolia terrace compared to oak manor?

I'm interested in this too! We will be checking in on Saturday, and we have requested Magnolia Terrace, mainly because it is non-smoking. But I am curious as to it's quality of rooms and it's convenience of location. Thanks!

We have stayed in Magnolia Terrace on two different occasions and loved it. It is a little longer walk to the resort center than Oak Manor, but we (too) wanted a non-smoking room. We requested (and got) a first floor room on the river side with a view of the courtyard. There is a gazebo in this area and the landscaping is really beautiful. The interiors of both buildings are the same. I would highly reccomend Magnolia Terrace.

I've stayed in Magnolia Terrace twice. It is a very nice building with a nice rose-lined brick path leading up to curving stair cases outside. We had standard view rooms on both occasions, and found them to be fine. We were on the 2nd floor overlooking the circular driveway both times, so there wasn't much noise from the traffic.

Also, the bus dropped us off right near our building, so we didn't have a long trek from the bus stop in the evening after being at the parks.

The walk from the building to the food court, boat launch, etc. is slightly longer than Oak Manor, but not by much. It's a nice walk anyway, so I wouldn't worry about it too much.

I think you'll like it!
