POR - Lots of bugs???

Hi all,

I've been reading here & there that some people have had bug bites at this resort.... I'm kind of worried, cause I hate them with a passion and when we were at the Doplhin 2 years ago, that was never an issue for us...

So, for those who have been at POR - is this an issue???

Wow - I hope not! We'll be there for our honeymoon the week of October 17. Bugs will not be very romantic!

We just got back last week from a 10 days stay at POR. We were in the AB section and there was no problem with bugs. My husband saw them spraying. I tend to get bitten easily and I received 2 bites during the entire trip and I couldn't tell you where I received them.

In Florida, there are bugs everywhere, all the time.

Exactly. Folks not used to Florida may think POR is unusual -- and it actually IS -- unusually free from bugs as compared to elsewhere in the state (Disney does many thing to keep, for example, the mosquito population down), though there are still a healthy number of critters.
