Cs And Ts Which Building Is Best To Stay At Thanks For The Help

Here's a good place to get started on your quest for POR info: http://www.allearsnet.com/acc/faq_dxl.htm and also here on the DIS.
My DH & I have stayed here twice and love it. It's fairly spread out but we never seem to have a problem. We prefer the Aligator Bayou section to the mansions but that's just our personal taste. I don't think either is better than the other per say. Never used the pool but my DH used the pool bar quite a bit and made some friends there. :rotfl: We also went to the lounge a few times and checked out Bob Rivers' show. We ate at both the food court and at Boatrights and thoroughly enjoyed both. Transportation can be tricky since it shares with POFQ, but if you time it right you can probably all get on the same bus. Try to avoid the morning rush or maybe just wait for the next bus to come. I think you'll all enjoy this resort! :thumbsup2

It is a lovely resort, but the buses could be a problem at times. Unfortunately for us, when we stayed there in 2006, we did have problems with the buses. We usually ended up standing both going and coming home from the parks. There were also a few times, that the bus was mostly full of FQ guests, so that by the time it pulled up at our stop, only a few people were able to get on...so we had to wait for another bus. It was very frustrating. On a side note, we stayed at FQ in 2007 and the service was much better, especially since it picked up and dropped off there first. At least we would get on the bus and be able to sit as well.

I am pretty sure that the first stop at POR was the main one by the lobby. I don't remember 100%, but I know that was the stop we mainly used, and I think it was the first one.

sorry to here about the buses that was one of the things we liked about csr we heard they were less crowded and i'm sure we will be using the pool we have 6 crumb crushers in our party
