POR FQ guests using Riverside pools

Hello:

I have heard that POR FQ and Riverside guests can use each others pools. Is this a hassle for anyone that has done this.

I keep wondering for adults only whether the theme pool will be quite loud at french quarter, cause we usually only go to the quiet pools of a resort. Any comments on this.

We have only been once and are leaving soon add going to POR. Last time and guessing this time, we only had time to use the pools a couple times and not for long so it made sence to us to use the pools closest to us so we hit the quiet pool 2 times and the main pool once, never even thought of going to FQ to use the pool. I am not sure if you can walk or have to take transportation.

I am torn where to stay, I like french quarter idea cause of the refurbed rooms, but we are 4 adults and really like to sit quietly by a quiet pool, therefore they are all in the riverside section. So is it silly to stay at french quarter but drive/walk over to the quiet pools of riverside,

We are not doing alot of parks, just one or two days, but really want to just get over the winter by relaxing by a pool. When the kids were little we always did a theme pool, but now we just like the quiet pools.

Since we usually don't travel with kids I only go to the quiet pools also. I would change to POR instead of having to go back and forth. We don't stay at POFQ since there are no quiet pools.

POR Riverside and Fr. Quarter are sister resorts and people staying at either are more than welcome to use any of the pools and/or other amenities at the other. No matter what go check it out and have a great time.

As HANDYMOM said, POR and FQ are sister resorts and you are welcome to use all the facilities at both. It is a nice walk between the two, probably about 15-20 minutes. Both main pools are "themed" and usually quite popular. The quiet pools at POR aren't usually as busy.
