POR & Dining Plan

OK, I am not sure if this is where I want to post this, but have a question....I am trying to really start planning this trip to Disney next year, October 2007. We want to go for MNSSHP and stay at POR. I have heard how great the Dining Plan is because you can try out restaurants that you normally wouldn't want to spend the money on. Here's my problem...I already purchased my park tickets through ticketmania, but am interested in the dining plan. I FINALLY talked my DH into going if we stay at POR this time instead of ASMo. I don't need any park tickets though, and I also am a AAA member. What is the best and cheapest way to book the dining plan to go with my room at POR? Do I have to get a park ticket anyway? I don't need two sets of park tickets!!! PLEASE HELP!!!

You can't get the dining plan without booking a package and you can't book a package without at least a 1 day ticket. You could purchase 1 day tickets and save them for a future trip.

In order to get a AAA discount on a package with dining you need to book with a AAA Travel agent. You can book a room only with AAA discount yourself through Disney.
