POR December recommendations...

I will start by saying I know this has been discussed many many times but, I wanted to get some advice for our specific situation.

We (2 adults, 2 children) are going in mid December this year. We are debating between POR and POFQ. We have been leaning towards POR, but are worried about the size and buses.

1. For our dates, is it going to be busy enough to worry about the buses?
2. Does POR and POFQ split buses (each have own) on busy days to MK?
3. If you do suggest POR, would you recommend AB or MB rooms (trundle is
not important)?
4. Is it that far of a walk to POR from POFQ?
5. Are there refrigerators in all rooms at both resorts?

We are so excited about going (first time)... any thoughts and opinions would be appreciated.

Sorry, I have no answers, but I do have many of the same ?s.

Hi,

I'll try to answer all your questions:

1. I don't think business will be a factor during your dates.
2. POR and POFQ share all buses. FQ has it's own bus to MK after 4 every day.
3. It's hard to answer this question. It depends if you want a room that is rustic, more like a cabin, or more fancy like in a mansion. One advantage to the Mansions is you will be closer to FQ if you want to walk there (as you said in #4). I like the Mansions cause I like using the East Depot bus stop and crossing the river to go to the main building. I also like the Bayou when I was there in February. But the main bus stop get congested so I missed using the East Depot.
4. It is not a far walk. The longest walk would be about 10 minutes. It takes about 7 minutes from one food court to the other.
5. There are refridgerators in all rooms.
