Por Bldg Number??

I just called and changed my bldg request at POR from AB#27 to AB#14. I've looked at the map but am still not sure if I made the right choice. I'm trying to be close to the theme pool. We usually stay at POFQ in Bldg 2 or 5 which face the pool. Which bldg at POR would be equivalent at POR? Did I make a mistake in changing? Should I request a particular section in Bldg 14?

I have stayed in 14 and think it the best one there. As close as you can getto pool I think and very close to the main building.

Unlike PO-FR, none of the buildings overlook the main pool at PO-R. We have found that building 14 and Acadia House or Magnolia Terrace (especially for being close to the main pool) are the most convenient. In general, building 14 and Parterre Place are the most convenient, overall.

Thanks for your help. I'm glad I changed to Bldg 14. Is there a particular side, floor, or section I should request? At POFQ we always ask for pool-side and even though we have a standard room, there is never a problem. Wish we were going to the FQ!
I've tried AKL, BC and now POR but POFQ will always be my favorite. Thanks again for your help!!

We are going to POR in Nov, and I was wondering the same thing. How likely is it we get our request? We are arriving late at night, so I'm thinking they may put us in whatever room is left at that point. Also, is it possible to get a trundle bed room if you only have 4 in your party? My dds are both very restless sleepers, so it would be great to separate them.

I think we stayed in 1409, which was a ground level floor facing the river. I would request a room that doesn't have a parking lot view, and you will not be disappointed!
