I am going to POR the first week in November on my honeymoon and we were wondering what was the best building or area to request. Also, if anyone knows where I could look at pictures of the rooms and resort I would love that!!

Thanks so much!

Our building worked out great for our family of 5. We were in room 3419 (building 34) and we loved it! It was in the AB section and we loved having the trundle bed. We drove almost everywhere and it was nice that our building was right next to the parking lot, but did not face it. We had about a 3 minute walk to the quiet pool, 8 minutes to the main pool and 10 minutes to the food court. The paths were so beautiful that we never minded the walk. We were also very close to the bus stop but we didn't use it.

Even though I prefer the AB section, the MB section was very pretty. Since you are on your honeymoon you may enjoy that section because it looks a little more romantic. Either way, you can't go wrong, this has been our favorite resort so far.

I forgot to mention that allearsnet.com has great pictures of all the resorts. Check it out!

We just returned from POR 2 weks ago and stayed in Building 25 (rooms 2547 & 2548). At first we thought it was going to be too far but it turned out to be great. It was close to the west bus stop which was good because we didn't have a car, close to a quiet pool and maybe a 5 min. walk to the food court and Ol Man Island. We were on the second floor and one of our rooms was a corner room. We hardly ever saw anyone up there, never heard anyone at night and the resort was full! They were great rooms! You will love it! Have fun and congrats on your wedding!

I think they are all fine - we were in building 18 AB (smoking) but closer to the dining areas etc. Building 14 even closer. Lovely gardens and AB more informal foilage than the mansions but they're nice too.

Have a couple of pics I scanned here!

Taken on an old fashioned camera so apologies for quality!

Your pictures are gorgeous! I'm in the process of still deciding if I want to have two connecting rooms at a Mod. resort or share a room at a deluxe. After seeing your pictures- I think my family of 5 would be very happy at POR. Thank you for sharing :goodvibes .

We stayed in Bldg 15 last week, really enjoyed it. The bus stop was a quick walk (less than a minute) through a cut through the parking lot. Our room faced some greenery. I thought bldg 16 looked good as well and was right next to the quiet pool which was rarely crowded, mostly the adult crowd. The parking lot was mostly full, but hardly seemed like anyone was there. I would like to have a 1st floor room and I overpacked (as usual) and had to drag my suitcases upstairs.
