I'm not able to drink caffinated beverages and wondered if POP offered many caffeine-free choices in their food court?

I can't stand to drink water non-stop and I'm afraid that is what is going to happen. It's very hard to find caffeine-free beverages at hotels and restaurants these days!

I appreciate any help anyone can give me! If they don't offer many choices I may have to stop by a local grocery story on my way to the park!

Disney doesn;t have caffine-free coke anywhere. They do have caffine-free diet Coke, Sprite, Minute-Maid pink lemonade, and Minute-Maid Orange soda, all of which are caffine-free.

Your choices are limited, but you do have some.

If you want a specific soda, such as caffine-free non-diet Coke or Pepsi, you can easily pick some up on your way to the resort from the airport, along with a cheap disposable styrofoam cooler. Housekeeping will often freshen the ice in these coolers for you if you leave it in your hotel room, giving you cold snacks and beverages when you get back there each night.

They also have apple juice, hot chocolate, and slushies available in the refillable mug section which our the favorites for our family.

When we were there in November, they changed the pink lemonade to minute maid "light" lemonade (yellow, not pink).

The pink lemonade is really good. Many of Disney's resorts have root beer, but not Pop. I think presently they are the only food court without root beer, but hopefully one day they'll put it on their tab. We have made the comments more than once while visiting. They do not have apple juice on their beverage bar as someone posted above. That is an item that must be purchased in the food court. They do have decaf coffee and probably can get decaf tea bags too.

I was told by many in the POP thread that apple juice has been added to the machines in the refillable stations.

That would be wonderful if they did. I was there twice last year and the last trip was Oct/Nov '04 for 10 days. So if they did it was recently and I guess they wouldn't have a need to continue to sell it in the food court. Since my grandson was with us, I'm sure he would've found it. We had to go to the grocery store twice to pick up AJ boxes for the kids.

I was there in June 04 and they didn't have it either. However, in the POP Century thread there have been 2 people that have been there recently that confirmed it was there for me, I sure hope it is. I will still pack a lot of juice boxes for our kiddo's though. It would save us a TON If it is there because with two children who are juice guzzlers it added up buying the expensive one's in the gift shop every single day.

That would be a blessing. Often our grandson would ask to drink soda for breakfast because there was nothing you could put in your mug as a breakfast drink for kids, unless you purchased milk or juice. I'll be there April 29th for 16 days, but GS isn't going on this trip.

Q--When we stayed at ASMu, they had a micro. in the food court. Does Pop have one?

Yes POP has a microwave in the food court.

During our stay at Pop Century Dec. 29 - Jan. 1, apple juice was available in the refillable mug section. My DD drank it every day. Try to refill early in the evening. Late at night all stations were running out. I'm sure it was the drink of choice for breakfast.

Just got back from Pop last week. This is what was available on the beverage island...
apple juice
lite Minute Maid lemonade (yellow)
coffee
decaf coffee
tea
decaf tea
Fanta orange soda
Coke
diet caffeine free Coke
Sprite
Coke slushie (when it was working)
Blue raspberry slushie (when it was working)
Hot chocolate

There was a microwave and a toaster as well.

Things I missed from our trip to ASmovies in 2003 were Cherry Coke and pink lemonade.

Thanks so much! The apple juice will save us so much money this time around. I felt like we were buying those minute maid bottles of apple juice like they were going out of style - this is a huge money saver for our family!
