Good evening peeps!!!
Monday ??? what Monday ??? I got in last nite at 1AM from work... and crashed... I woke this morning at around 5AM .. went to pee and went back to bed.. dsis woke me up at 2PM .. ate lunch and slept again and now I think am done sleeping...
Oh my goodness does this sound like my DREAM day!!! I haven't gotten much sleep in the past couple of days.
HOw is everyone else doing?? i have a nasty cough that i picked up in DIsney and so does my dad
My dad is goign in for more surgery this week some time, but not sure when yet as they ran more tests on him
He also has to go to a bigger hospital, which i am NOT thrilled about, b/c this hospital is soooooo yucky..and in a not so nice neighborhood....blahhh
Sorry to hear about the big yucky hospital, but usually those are the ones that have the most talented personnel right? Like here, the big hospitals in Boston are yucky and the little communitiy ones are so nice... hope he gets the best care available!
Lori... but they say it is good luck for an odd number than even.. well thats what my grandma told me when I was a kid... when someone give you a candy you get 1 or 3 or 5
unless they offer 8 since 8 us avery very good number !
I was always taught everything should come in odd numbers for luck too. Like when you are putting the Jordan Almonds in wedding favors.... odd number.....

I just saw the Old Navy commercial!!! I look at those girls and think- Now why can't I look like that? And the VS commecial, the one with the girl talking about her wings, she must be a new angel. She looks like she's 14!

just got a call from Nj... my aunt got worst after we left Friday... I really thought/hope that she'll come out of this... she progress to pneumonia Saturday and was on life support Sunday... tomorrow my cousin = her son= and my uncle = her husband= will decide if the life support is going to be taken out

Ok, so I am BACK! I read this thread first I will have you know!!!!!
So, I met Michelle for all of one second! I didn't realize untill it was too late that it was her last full day! I figured we could meet up for a longer visit by the kiddie pool, but by the time we got in from MK I did not see her there. I didn't even get to meet the kiddos. Sorry for being so quick Michelle, I just really figured we would have all the time in the world at night by the pool....but I missed you. I didn't see any other DIS'ers or Mayers
! My mom said she saw one lady with a LGMH around her neck, but that was it.
So, on Sunday we came back to the room to a message that Rob's mother had a stroke and was touch and go. At that time they were giving her two weeks. She is 60, and was otherwise fine. Her brain is swelling and they have her on meds to try to control that. At this point the meds are working. They had said if they didn't work, she had 48 hours, because the swelling doubled in one day, and at that rate....but it has slowed now. They say that at 5 days the brain swelling will peak. She is paralyzed on her right side, and can not speak or do much of anything beside move her eyebrow and left hand. They have found a clot near her aorta, they are giving blood thinners to try to alleviate that. Rob flew home on the first flight on Monday AM, so he has been with her for a couple of days. Today he is back at work, but we will go in tonight to see her. I feel so bad for him. He does love her so much and I think he is in denial as to what is really happening.
Rebecca- I put in an order. I hope you got it. I know it wasn't for as much as I had orriginally said, but it had emptied my cart by the time I had the cc in front of me to order, and I couldn't remember all the stuff I had wanted, so I did a quick order before I went out the door to the airport. Hope the party went well, let me know!
Lori-I am so sorry I totally forgot about the Pirate dollars. We did DTD the day Rob left, and I had gotten about 2 hours sleep, I just wasn't all there. I am so sorry. I do have to call mail order to order something I couldn't get for Sarah, so I will ask at that time if they can send the Pirate Dollars to me with my order.

So how's everyone doing, i feel likei have not been here in months!! What have i missed so far??? I really want to go to wdw for oct, but can't find cheap airfare. We were thinking about late aug for the free dinning, but they have no rooms left for that.
