popcorn in theaters...

if we bring microwavable popcorn for the theater, where can we pop them? does anyone know? thank you!

oh no! bad news!! and here i thought i had a "brilliant" idea! oh well...

My daughter and nephews ADORE micro popcorn - to the point of extreme - so this was a major low blow to them - but there is tons of food - and I will pack some other snacks

You can buy bagged popcorn for your stay or movies. We do like the white cheddar bagged popcorn. No it is not hot or movie or micro popcorn, but we were fine with it.

How much is the popcorn? Is it as bad as normal movie theaters?

Not sure of the popcorn price, but I recall spending $40+ for soda, water, 1 bag of popcorn and candy for 6 people.

The popcorn is not even comparable to bad movie popcorn. It's closer to very salty styrofoam packing material.

Popcorn bags were about $3.50 plus gratuity plus tip! The bags were extremely small and were pre-sealed! This means cold and no butter flavored oil!

Recommendations from past cruisers and observations! Bring your own bags of popcorn such as kettle corn! We did not have snacks so we had to smuggle chocolate chip cookies away from the midnight buffett tables that are usually set up outside Rockin Bar D!

The popcorn on the magic this past may was Chesters from frito lay. It is just fine, and it is the large bags, yes, they same big bag you get at the grocery store.

We found the candy and popcorn to be very reasonably priced, like for the big bag of popcorn and 4 candy bars it was around 6 bucks.
