Popcorn buckets Q? and NEW Cinderella bucket!

God, I want the Cinderella one, oh man I wonder if they will have them around still late this year. Or do I need to find some one to get one for me.

Im going end of April , I can find out and if they aren't let you know and get you one, I already have 3 orders lol princess:

Wow. I have a feeling I'm going to be sending a lot of stuff back to Australia through the post when we visit in June :dog2:

I tried Google searching Marching Band popcorn to see I could get any additional information about the bucket mentioned by Malcon10t, but the only one that came up was the round bucket from several years ago!

There is a standard bucket I saw last week that has Mickey and friends playing in a marching band. I thought it might be cute for my neighbor's 3 year old, but I can't justify it sitting in my cabinet with the other buckets.

The above quote was the bucket I am looking for for a friend.

It's funny...I probably wouldn't have remembered, bought it, and then when I got home be surprised to already see it in my collection!

My DS would love a Lightening McQueen one...of course I just want one for myself :rotfl:

So the marching band one, definitely an old one no longer sold in the parks? That's a cute one!

They've had the McQueen buckets for quite a while now and it seems very popular, so I would expect that one to be around for a bit yet! I was honestly surprised that the blue version didn't return holiday season. I wonder if it didn't sell as well because kids think of McQueen as red and not blue.

It sounds like SMD just saw it in the parks. I got mine a while ago in WDW, so it might be that DLR and WDW are on different schedules for this design.

I'll be on the lookout! My DH will be extremely annoyed that I will be dragging him all over the parks looking for popcorn buckets lol

Luckily(?) there aren't all that many popcorn stands and you'll probably pass by most of them as you tour the parks. :) The trick is to just plan your path between attractions so they happen to take you by a popcorn stand. For example, when you enter DL, use the tunnel on left, as if you were going to City Hall. The popcorn stand will just happen to be on your right. Or if you ride IaSW and then go to the Matterhorn, just happen to walk on the left side of the mall, under the monorail track...:rotfl:

Good tip, because I honestly can't say I ever noticed the popcorn stands before! Guess my mind was never on popcorn!

Let's see...
Disneyland
  • Main Street Town Square - Across from City Hall
  • Main Street Hub - Between the Partners Statue and Jolly Holiday Bakery
  • New Orleans Square - Across from French Market, near Haunted Mansion
  • Frontierland - Near entrance to Mark Twain
  • Fantasyland - Near Matterhorn, under the Monorail track
  • Tomorrowland - Across from Space Mountain entrance, under the old People Mover platform
I can't think of one in Adventureland or Toontown.

Disney's California Adventure
  • Buena Vista Street - Near entrance to Hollywoodland
  • Carsland - One of the Cozy Cones
  • Paradise Pier - Near Mickey's Fun Wheel (I think)
  • Condor Flats - Just past Soarin' on the path to GRR
I'm not as familiar with the locations in DCA, so there might be many more that I've missed! I also don't know if that stand that used to be by Soarin' will be there when the area re-opens at Grizzly Peaks Airfield.

I haven't seen the marching band one recently. The bucket they've been using has a bright blue lid, but I didn't look at the print on it

Has anyone seen this? Apparently, it's been going around the internet. OP said the guy went up to a popcorn cart at opening, bought the entire case of them, and walked off carrying like 25 unused buckets -- most likely for resell.

I guess the good news is the Cinderella buckets are now at [correction] WDW (Hollywood Studios).
