Popcorn Bucket Upcycle?

Hi all! I have a question for you crafty people out there- what do you do with your popcorn buckets from your trips?? I have one from a couple trips ago, and can't figure out what to do with it. I don't want to throw it out, but it seems too big to use as a vase for flowers...any ideas?

We use ours in the bathtub. My kids store their bath toys in it afterwards too. May be an idea if u have kiddos.

We use them when we go to the movies for our two girls. We buy them a large popcorn and use the bucket to split the popcorn between them.

If you wanted to do something with it besides popcorn, you could always spray paint them. It'd be really cute to make some kind of "Get Well Soon," "Good Luck in the School Year," "Welcome to the Neighborhood," or "Happy Birthday" bucket. You could decorate them and fill them with the appropriate items (soup packets for a cold, pencils and pens for school, trinkets and candy for a birthday -- you get the idea).

If you wanted to keep them for yourself, you could, again, paint them (there are some really cool ones that make the item painted look like bronze or silver) and use one of those hanging basket things that stick out from the wall so you could hang the bucket. Inside, you could put pet treats, candy, small toys if you have kids (hot wheels or something), or hats and gloves if you live somewhere cold. Of course, this all depends on how many buckets you have and where you want them to hang.

We use one when we watch movies and have popcorn at home.

I use the other ones to save change and dollar bills, which I remove from my purse/wallet instead of spending. I call them my Mickey Money buckets, because that money is for vacations

in our house a few possible things happen with them...
-hold crafty stuff (projects, tools, etc)
-hold art supplies
-hold hair accessories in bathroom or bedrm
-hold tub toys
-hold washclothes in our guest bathrm (disney decor in this room)

I also use mine to save money for our trips! I love for bath tub idea though, might just have to pick up another bucket next time.

Love this thread, can't wait to see what else people use it for. I'm not creative, just wish I was!

Awesome ideas! I don't have any kiddos, so the bathtub idea wouldn't work for me. But I love the idea of using it to collect money for the next trip! And craft supplies too, that's a very needed thing around my house, haha Thanks everyone!!
