my mom and I are staying at POP for 10 days, has anyone ever stayed their?

You should read the Pop thread, lots of great information.

I've stayed at Pop several times and really enjoyed it. It's a cute resort that meets all your needs. It's nice that there is the bridge connecting it to AOA so you can walk over and enjoy a meal in their food court too. Enjoy your visit.

I love Pop. We are returning there next week. We've never had a bad stay there. Hope you experience the same!

You know people like us (who give a resort a 2nd chance) are by faaaar in the minority. So many times I read, "not staying there again because I had to wait 20 minutes for the bus one day" I know, a bit extreme but also not that far off
OP - We like POP a lot but like a PP mentioned, do you have any specific questions? I would check sites like allears and other to also get info on the resort.

So true! We have given CSR two chances, and to be honest, if a deal came up that was "too good", I would try it a third time even though the first two times were very sub-par..

I have. And I'm someone who would rather sleep in my car than what would be considered a value resort anywhere outside of Disney world. I liked it and would definitely stay there again (after I've worked my way through the other resorts. I want to see them all before going back to one)

We usually stay at CSR and love it, but stayed at POP in Dec. due to availability for FD. We were pleasantly surprised, and while we missed CSR, we really enjoyed our stay and would stay there again. Rooms were in good condition and clean, and service was good. Not impressed with the food court, do prefer the Pepper Market at CSR, but mostly ate in the parks/had snacks in the room, so only had one meal there and used for refillable mug. Good advice by PP to read the POP thread. I did read it to get info., especially on where to request a room to be near the front for buses. We ended up with a preferred room, which I thought was worth the cost in this case. We stayed in 60s building 5, at the end closest to the food court on the top floor(less noise than lower close to pool), which was quick walk to the food court, or through the food court out to the buses.

We have stayed at Pop four times, its our favorite value resort and in our top 3 of favorite resorts in general and we have stayed in many! The icons and theming are very fun. We love the main pool, it has a great outdoor pool bar, lots of palm trees and the two quiet pools are also nice. I think Pop has one of the best food courts but be aware it can get crazy busy. We enjoy eating outside when it is or even when it isn't.

We have paid for preferred which is nice but our favorite section is a lake facing room in the 50's section. The path along the lake is so nice, its very quiet back there and the walk to the front of the resort is not bad.

I think you and your mom will love it!
