Pop Warner Question

When is Pop Warner this year and who has been there in the past during their stay?

If you do a search on this board for "Pop Warner" you'll find lots of threads from people who have been there during Pop Warner. But many will say they hardly noticed the kids while others will say the place is swarming with them!

We were there last year and styed at AKL. I changed my ressie from POFQ to AKL because I read that they sometimes use POFQ as an overflow resort from ASSports. We really didn't notice them too much in the parks. One night they closed MGM for a private party for the Pop Warners. And I did hear of some people complaining of the noise ( cheerleaders) they make at the resorts. We are going back again this year , the same time. i think that if you just plan where you stay, you'll be fine.

We've been there quite a few years at Pop Warner time. As far as the parks we didn't notice them at all. MGM was closed early one night for them. We stay at Boardwalk or Wilderness Lodge and have never seen any of the players or cheerleaders there. Last year our flight arrived the same time as a huge, huge group the ME line was crazy. After a couple minutes the ME CM's made a separate line for Pop Warner to check in. That cut the line by 75% and we were on our way very quickly.
