POP vs AsMusic at Christmas

How are the Christmas/Holiday decorations at these two resorts? I have AsMusic booked currently and was contemplating upgrading to POP for the use of skyliner and being the "nicer" of the value resorts.

Thanks to this community I decided to stay with AsMusic as I've learned the skyliner can go down so an upgrade just for that may not make the most sense. But since the release of discounted tickets upgrading to POP is now something that is in my budget!

My kids LOVE everything Christmas/holiday season!

Should I upgrade to POP (~50 extra TOTAL) or keep my reservation and have the discount applied (~$120 savings).

I, personally, would upgrade to Pop. The weather during the Christmas season is a little less volatile than it is during the spring/summer/fall season when it rains/storms almost every afternoon. So, from the skyliner perspective, this is probably the best time to stay there. Also, then you will get to use the skyliner more frequently and have more opportunities to see the decorations from the air and at night.

For only $50 more total I would absolutely upgrade to Pop. The Skyliner is a godsend to Pop and AoA IMO and the refurb happens closer to January/February so if you're there between Nov-December or even the early weeks of January, you should be in the clear. The Holidays are a crazy time of year at the parks, so having that efficient Skyliner to Hollywood/Epcot instead of relying just on the buses is a major key to success.

And for what it's worth-- the Holiday decorations are about the same at Pop and Movies, maybe a little nicer at Pop as of recent

Thank you! I’m beyond excited!! It was such a tough choice for me before so I’m glad I waited it out! My heart is full!!
