My in-laws would be sharing a room w/us (4 adults) in early Sept., 7 nights (no way out of shacking up:). We are considering Pop vs. All Stars.

$1,211 for All Stars vs. $1,515 for Pop. This is the biggest factor for us. While splitting the $304 difference helps, $152/couple still works out to cost of nearly 5 days of G+ (enough for entire stay since we wouldn't pay for AK/EP), and to me the time savings for skyliner for 2 of 4 parks wouldn't be more than 1-2 LL/day. We wouldn't Uber, but the cost difference would pay for Uber every day. We don't return to hotel mid-day or hotel hop for dining to fully take advantage of skyliner. We would be going to water parks 3x, and Pop is closer than the AS.

We're gung-ho rope droppers and usually out to buses prior to 6:30am for 1st bus for RD, and somewhat concerned with the 1 hour before skyliner operations. With the 30 min early entrance and Pop to park time... I can't recall if they let you in earlier than the 30 min but if they strictly stick to the 30 min, you wouldn't be near the front of the tap lines for Rise/Rat.

None of us have stayed at Pop since skyliner. But dad is afraid of heights. Said he's willing to try after some reassurance from wife who was also afraid of it until we did a test run park hopping last Dec. (and she was ok). Think he'd be ok after trying it.

In-laws stayed at Pop once in 2013 and Sports only in 2019. Wife and I have stayed at all four resorts many times. Prefer Pop theming, and would pay a little extra. In-laws said they don't have a preference, go with whatever we decide (no help).

Initially going to pick Sports before learning that 2+ yrs of closure didn't lead to finishing the refurb. We've been able to fit in double beds before though. I'm one of the few people who don't care about the difference between old rooms and the new rooms. Others would probably prefer the new rooms, definitely the larger beds. I usually pick Sports over Movies or Music soley based on being picked up first/dropped off first when sharing buses. I tried to book Movies next, and Standard was booked up, and we usually don't feel the upcharge is worthwhile ($166). I booked Music for now, but it's my last choice given the narrow layout of 10 bldgs (we had like a mile walk back and forth last Nov. to the buses).

Given how nit picky/indecisive I am, I've toggled back and forth between all of them (lately between Sports and Pop). Could you please weigh in?
