Oh yeah, you should be able to. Also, you could turn it sideways on the sand portion (if it is light enough), edged up to the concrete, so that your "front porch" is on concrete.
Been there, done that. But, I would suggest that you go ahead and put the camper on the sand pad. It really isn't that bad, and it makes much better use of the campsite. The concrete pads are small, and if you park your camper on the concrete, you will have little to no space for your tow vehicle. Just be sure to bring a big rug for under your awning, and a few extra mats for foot wiping, and you will be fine.
I like the idea of putting it on the sand part and turning it sideways. We'll have to look at our site when we get there and hope it is wide enough to do it.
