Pop up rental...

I noticed the owners of the site that rented pop ups are now closing in December and we want a rental for January . The only site left is a pop up one so we can't go bigger even if we wanted..any ideas? Was really looking to spend around $500 and the only other place I see is Meachams which is a lot more than that.

I don't see many good options for you. Although you might get lucky, I wouldn't go to Vegas with these odds.

1. I don't know of anyone else that rents popups. You can go to travel trailers if they are small enough in a tent site but you would have no sewer connection.
2. You didn't say if you had a reservation for January already and when it was or for how many nights. That would be helpful info.
3. You can always "keep trying, keep trying" but that's hard to also arrange a rental trailer on such short notice.
4. There are several other vendors that rent bigger trailers but first you have to know the site you have.

These are not the best options. Booking in October for January is only 3 months in advance and with so many moving parts, it might be hard to line them all up.

Maybe you can trim the nights at the Fort by 1 (either arrive early or stay late that last day) and stay nearby off-site to make it easier. I like to stay within an hour's drive the night before I arrive at the Fort so I can cruise over early and get checked in officially. Sometimes I have to wait, sometimes I can go right to my site or to the parks. With the rental that's another moving piece to consider. But I do spend one night off-site early to save a little $$$.
