We have a partial site booked for october and have a pop up camper. we will be traveling with my father in law so i wanted to also put a tent up on the site for storage and as a changing room. we also have a dining canopy. will this all fit and be allowed on the site. the tent is 12x15 and the dining canopy is 12x12.

thanks

Thanks. How do you mean sideways? Also please review what is on a partial site? A parking pad, a sandy area, and a dining area??? I am getting confused. How big are the sites and where are you allowed to put tents and canopys. Are there regulations as to not using certain ground areas?

Where we camp most of the time there is a parking strip long enough for the camper and the truck then there is a grassy area where we can set up a tent and dining area.

Ok i just looked at the photo site and saw many similar set ups. I guess what i need to know is if the camper and the truck will fit on the parking pad with only the bunk end hanging over, then we would have the sand area for the tent and dining canopy. I guess it depends on the site but we should be in the 1500 or 2000 loop correct?

This is a basic campsite layout. When you unhook you pop-up turn it across the pad to give you more room.

This is a direct copy and paste from the FAQ thread

What can we put on our site??

The official policy , which we just got re-explained to us at 315pm today is one camping unit (trailer,popup,mh,5thwheel,tent) per site PLUS one tent (on SAND only) plus an awning/dining cover attached or directly against the main camping unit, plus ONE (usually your tow vehicle or frog) vehicle (and as many bikes, scooters, pairs of crutches, golfcarts or surfboards that you want as long as they are not blocking the loop road , other's sites, infringing other's spaces or in the fire zones (any area other than the pad or the sand) OR two tents (plus the one vehicle and as many surfboards, scooters, etc ) with the exception of the specified Group Tenting location. (end quote of the nice (cough) security truck guy)

I don't think you will have a problem in the 2000 loop. Last October, our tent (15x12) and screen house (15x15) wouldn't fit on the any of the available sites in the 1500 loop so we had to go to the 2000 loop. And we don't have a pop-up.

Here is a picture of my site in October on Loop 2000. While mine is not a popup, it will give you an idea of how things can be set up. FYI We had FOUR EZ-Ups set up, and they didn't say a word to us.

We had the T@B set up regular on the driveway with the driverside wheels as far to the edge of the pavement as possible, then the tent was set up in the back right hand corner of the site, with an EZ-Up set up at the entrance. Then I had an EZ-Up set up as an awning to my camper, then one over the back kitchen, then we had a 4th EZ-Up in over the picnic table.

If you would be willing to park your tow vehicle in the Overflow lot, you will have plenty of room.

Thanks again, I think we will be ok, besides this is a vacation so i am told not to worry, it will all just work out.

ya but i have to be the planning one and the rest of them all just show up so no wonder they dont worry. :)
